Our Mission
At Stepping Stone World Preschool, our mission is to nurture each child’s natural curiosity while fostering a lifelong love of learning. We are committed to providing a joyful, supportive, and safe environment where children grow through meaningful relationships, exploration, and play.
Our Philosophy of Learning
We believe that every child learns best through hands-on experiences, guided discovery, and trusted relationships with caregivers. Our curriculum is rooted in play-based and developmentally appropriate practices that encourage intellectual, emotional, and social growth.
We ensure that every child receives the personalized attention, care, and encouragement they deserve. This allows our teachers to deeply understand each child’s needs and help them build confidence at their own pace. Below are the Teacher to Student ratios your child's classroom will have based on age:
- 1:6 ratio for ages 2–3
- 1:9 ratio for ages 3–5

Manisha Sharma
Director Manisha Sharma has led Stepping Stone World Preschool since its founding.
As the director, I am so honored to be part of a school that values kindness, curiosity, and community. Our goal is to create a warm and enriching environment where children feel safe, celebrated, and inspired to learn. We believe every child is unique, and we work closely with families to nurture each child’s strengths and interests.
What truly makes our school special is the sense of connection between teachers, children, and parents. Language & Cultural Exploration
Children at Stepping Stone are introduced to Hindi/Indian, Spanish/Mexican, and Mandarin/Chinese language and culture through stories, songs, celebrations, and activities. We encourage them to express their heritage and share traditions from home, whether that is through food, festivals, music, or dress.
